Hi swappers . . . Many thanks to @mspandatrain for suggesting this project for our group. I'm going to do a 'penpal' series for those who don't create journals. For this project, we'll be following along with THIS TUTORIAL to create an embellished notecard (or scrapbook paper) with pockets inside. ONE CHANGE TO THE TUTORIAL: Pocket 1 inside should contain a 1-page 'penpal' letter--nothing elaborate--just a few paragraphs, and pocket 2 will contain goodies for your partner to use when creating, As the tutor suggests, if you don't have notecards, simply use scrapbook paper measuring approximately 8.5" x 5", which, when folded, will give you a 'notecard' measuring 4.25" x 5". I'm guessing at these measurements! Just fiddle around 'til you find a size that will accommodate the pockets you create. You may use any type of bag to create your pockets; the ones without a gusset are best. Remember to deco the front of your card and pop the project off to your penpal in a decorated envie. Hope to see you in the swap! | |
