Barbie Celebration! USA only

Barbie stamps are to be released by the USPS on July 11th! I am not obsessed with Barbie but I do appreciate her as a toy in my childhood. Barbie is a symbol of nostalgia. She is inspiration for entrepreneurship and vocations for women. Here’s my swap idea….

Send your partner an envelope decorated in Pink or with Barbie symbolism. Her face, her accessories, the Barbie logo, etc. I plan to use a Pink envelope as pink is my favorite color.

Inside the envelope, a Barbie or pink notecard or a card decorated with Barbie stickers. Write in this notecard or you can leave it blank but add a nice note on paper about your happy thoughts of Barbie. Here are suggestions: Do you have a favorite outfit for Barbie or do you have a vocation that Mattel has yet to represent with Barbie? Which one was your favorite? Share something/anything Barbie positive. A nice memory? Add a flat item that is Barbie themed - nicely handmade is fine! Stickers (a sheet or several separates are good too!}

1. Decorated envelope, pink is optional.
2. Flat item that is Barbie themed. (Postcard, ATC, bookmark, stationery, etc.)
3. Note inside a notecard with your Barbie message (see above) or you can put a blank Barbie card inside to be your flat item. But use a separate paper to write Barbie message (see above).
