AIA: Momigami Papers & Craft

It's time for a more fun and unique art project!

Momigami (pronounced moh-mee-GAH-mee) (揉み紙) is a traditional Japanese craft technique that translates to "kneaded paper". By coating, folding, and gently kneading paper, the process breaks down the fibers and transforms it into a soft, durable, fabric-like material that feels like worn leather.

These make great background papers, gift wrapping, journal pages, cards, envelopes, journal ephemera such as belly bands/journal cards, and whatever else you can dream up.

You'll make:
- A minimum of TWO different papers at least 6"x9" EDIT: 6"x9" WHEN FINISHED, but feel free to go bigger. Make sure you use interesting papers, not plain/blank copy paper.
- Add ONE craft project made from another piece of momigami paper. What you make is up to you.
