Welcome all you book nuts....this is the swap for you. As I can never have too many bookmarks, I thought there was bound to be like-minded people out there..so I decided to set up this swap.

It is an international swap and is open to anyone with a rating of 4.7 or over. Newbies are welcome but they must have completed profiles.

You are to handmake 1 (one) bookmark for 2 (two) partners (so that's 2 bookmarks in total). You can use any technique you want as long as it is handmade.

Hi Brummiebird, I have a question. Can we use tape on the bookmarkers? When will you list swap partners? I know it will be sometime in July. I just don't want to forget. Peace, Cherry

Cherry - double-sided tape is OK, but make sure it is stuck down right.

The partners will be assigned around the 1st July when the swap ends. I will need to go through everyone and check their profiles etc - in case I need to ban anyone ;).

Don't worry. You will be sent an email when the partners have been assigned.

Jerri - There is no list of materials etc. Just use your imagination and create a bookmark from whatever you wish. Just make it sturdy enough for your partner to be able to use if they wish. Hope that answers your question.

This is so cool! I have just joined and was notified of my first two swaps today. I am very excited!

My bookmarks are all ready to go. My only worry is that as I am from Australia they will take a while to reach the recipient. I hope that doesn't affect my rating.

A big sorry to my partners! I've had such a crazy two weeks prepping for a show i'm doing Saturday. Alas, mine will go out tomorrow, which is before the deadline, but since one partner is in the UK, it will be longer. Lesson learned: don't take last minute shows when you don't have enough stock ready!
