Mystery Tea Challenge

I love tea swaps! And this swap is for tea enthusiasts and connoisseurs. Can you tell an Earl Grey from an Irish Breakfast? How about Green Tea from Jasmine Tea?

I have a stash of teas where the tea itself does not come with an individual label. For example, Celestial Season teas and any loose tea items. I love drinking these teas, but I haven't sent many in tea swaps. I wanted to devise a fun interactive swap, so here it goes!

1. For this swap you will choose 3 different teas, that DO NOT come with an individual label. They can come in unmarked tea bags or loose teas in an unmarked container.

2. You will label each item with a number (1, 2 or 3.) Either place the item in a small plastic bag with a number, or staple a small piece of paper to the bag. DO NOT write on the bag (who wants to drink steeped ink or graphite anyway.)

3. Then on a piece of paper or note card write the name and a short description of each tea. Be creative with your description for hearts!

ex. Peppermint Tea- An herbal teas with the cool refreshing flavor of peppermint.

1. Write a cheat sheet for your self, so that you know which number goes with which name and description.

2. Mail the teas and the description to your partner. Make sure you include your username and the title of the swap.

Then the challenge begins!

Your partner will smell/brew/drink/experiment with the teas, and then guess which tea goes with which number. Write your guesses in the comment section on your partners profile when you rate them. Please do this step within a 2 weeks after receiving your package out of courtesy for your partner.

Then check your own profile to see if your partner is correct!

The purpose of this swap is SENDER'S CHOICES. The only restrictions allowed MUST be allergy related. As it would be hard to avoid a specific tea, if it arrives at your house unmarked. Please NO other requests. I will delete the comments if they NOT allergy related.
