Hello! Matchbook notepads are something fun I've just discovered how to make. Some of you may be new to this- some may be very experienced. These are so easy to make and a lot of fun!!!! For this swap, each person will have 3 partners and will send 2 matchbooks to each- a total of 6 matchbooks. They can be from recycled matchbooks, or handmade with your own fancy paper- your choice! I've included some tutorials below. Guidelines: 1) Each swapper will have 3 partners and will send 2 matchbooks 2) Matchbook notepads should include at least 10 pages of "notepad" (I use 12-15 depending on the weight of the paper because that is the maximum amount of paper my papercutter willl allow me before it shreds) 3) All participants must have completed 5 snail mail swaps 4) Regional U.S. only I anticipate shipping to be inexpensive. I sent a letter with a few last week and it was 64cents (because the envelope was bumpy- there is an additional surcharge) For anyone new to making these- here are some great tutorials: http://www.designspongeonline.com/2009/01/diy-wenesdays-january-21st-2009.html http://mrmonkeysuit.typepad.com/mr_monkeysuit/2008/07/matchbook-notepad-tutorial.html http://glitterstardesigns.blogspot.com/2007/09/matchbook-notepad-tutorial.html If you are very interested in participating and
if you do not meet the requirements, message me and we can work something out. |
