Hi everyone!!!

I'm currently in a cool swap that @ Fenix825 is hosting called "Used Postage Stamp Swap". I'm taking this concept a bit further...and it's flexible so that beginners to regulars can participate.

The basic concept is the same...send 6 used postage stamps to 2 partners (6X2)=12 stamps...most people should be able to find that amount in their stash...BUT...here's the possibly challenging part. You must chose 1 of the 6 choices (below) to send to each partner...hopefully you will get 2/6 different combiniations. If this is a successful swap...I may choice to host it again.

So here are your options: 1) 6 different used postage stamps (at least 1 should be international) 2) 3 pairs of used postage stamps (3X2) = 6 and to be extra challenging you could make one pair international 3) 2 triples of used postage stamps (2X3) = 6 4) 1 triple, 1 pair and one single (at least 1 should be international) 5) 1 quad (4 of the same stamp) and 1 pair 6) 1 quad and 2 singles

Crazy I know...but I've gotten some packages from the UK and it had lots 4+ of the same stamp in small increments so I had like 10 stamps on one package! It's super cool!

The first 2 options are probably going to be the most common, but you never know! Take a look at things that you've gotten over the past few months...and you may be surprised!

Have FUN with this!!!!

This is international, since 6 stamps shouldn't cost much to mail. It's a little challenging, so I'll give you 2 weeks from the sign up date to find your stamps.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

Happy swapping! Gina

Are we supposed to send the stamps IN the envelope, or ON the envelope?

ginating 08/25/2009 #

Whichever...sender's choice :)

Thanks for the invite Gina, but this isn't really my thing. Sounds cool though! Best luck and do invite me to future swaps, I appreciate knowing about them. <3 Wen

By pairs do you mean joined stamps or just two the same ?

angelstar 08/27/2009 #

This sounds really complicated. Personally, I don't get it.

2 of the same stamp...they don't have to be joined.

I'm not sure what you don't understand...the swap can be as simple of as complicated as you'd like to make it. (simple - 6 different stamps) or (complicated - 4 of the same and 2 of the same stamp = 6 stamps).
