Hello everyone, for this swap you will have one partner. You will make the standard(is there such a thing?) Dotee 4-6 inches in length, don't forget the tail and hanger. The only requirement is that somewhere on the doll there must be at least one button. It can be for her /his belly button, or on the dress, her tail or even a huge one as her hat. Faces shouldn't be drawn unless that's your only option. If you google Dotee you can find examples.

Newbies are accepted with a fully filled out profile. Profiles will be checked prior to assigning partners.

I think she ought to have as many buttons as you like - I bought a huge button (found it in the drapery section) and am going to use it as a hat!.

I have made only one dottee before, but am off work for three weeks soon so will probably be making quite a few more. This sounds fun, I like the idea of a button hat.

Where do ya'll get the pattern? Is there a good one online I can print off or do ya'll just create your own???

Ah yes the whooooo's of dotee making, do I keep or do I send... the problem with making two is even if you try they are all different.

Sorry about not assigning on the due date, I was in the hospital. But partners are assigned now, everyone have fun and can't wait to see my new dotee!!!!

i spent yesterday creating my first dotee and have to say i love how it turned out! my living room is a mess because i pulled out all my crafty material and long unused beads. It was worth it, though. What fun! I can see how making these can be addicting. :)
