Description:

I was given this swap idea from one of our gals superstitches. Not knowing what we are doing I will be making this a Newbie friendly swap, giving us plenty of time to make them.

What a great idea so here it is:

Momiji Dotee will be your own version of the Momiji Japanese Friendship Dolls . Not knowing what they were I looked them up on the net finding this site. A great place to check out what they are.

http://www.momiji-dolls.co.uk/

Momiji Dolls are collectable friendship dolls, each with their own characteristics, likes and dislikes. At the base of every doll is a slot into which can be used to hide a secret or friendship message for someone special. momiji dolls have already been highly commended by the Gift Association and look set to become the latest collectable craze.

After reading the above from the site I thought what a great idea for us to do.

Here are the standers:

Your Dotee must me between 4-6 inches Have a hanger and a tail (1 or more) and a pocket of some kind for a special note from you.

So Pick a feeling something to make your Momiji special:

Happiness

Rainbows

Smiles ect....

Be inspired and come up with your dotee. Tell us a little about her or him and put a special note into a pocket on your dotee. Do not stress this part it can be either simple or as detailed as you would like. The object here is to have fun.

Here is a example of a doll I found:

Happy Happy Happy.Always when dancing, oh boy! I'm happy, happy, happy! I like fancy dress and tea time treats.

I have a picture of one I made on my blog. While it's not a dotee it is similar enough to give you a place to start.
