You will decorate a 250 Count Matchbox in your Partner's Nerd-Likes. You will fill it up with Geek goodies, Handmade or bought, including at least 1 $5 Profile Surprise. Anyone that joins this, Please Comment below or have some geekery items on a Wishlist on your profile for your Profile Surprise. To get some ideas, Etsy.com, has a Geekery Catagory , ThinkGeek.com, Archie McPhee, and Shanalogic.com has some awesome geek goodies too! Check your partner's Likes and Dislikes to get an idea of what to send them. If you are stumped as to what is in this catagory, think, Kitschy, Retro, Robots, Horror, Videogames, Science, Ninjas, Domo Kun, weird, and much, much more!!!! Awesomeness! Thanks for sending me the link. I'll put it on my watchlist until a bit closer to the sign up date. I've never done a matchbox before, but I don't think I can pass this one up. :)

Some suggestions/ideas for my partner are robots, Nintendo, Japanese culture, cameras (photo nerd!), Horror (especially Zombies!), and cool little toys like wind up toys or figurines.

You can get them at a Walmart or the dollar stores where the kitchen supplies are usually. The 250's are much more fun to stuff full of goodies!

Thanks for the idea on where to get the matchboxes. I was wondering that myself, especially since I've never done a matchbox before.

I'm a computer geek (Linux/Unix, systems, databases, programming, Open Source Software) as well as something of a science fiction/fantasy fan. Way into science, robots, xkcd, strange Japanese stuff. Not so much into horror, zombies or vampires (unless they're writing code).
