Description:

Do you find yourself making the same resolutions year after year only to give up halfway into February or March? Okay, fine, the middle of January is usually where my resolution ends.

Well, not this year thanks to the super encouraging and inspiring package that our swap partner will be sending us! Simply list your resolutions and/or goals for the coming year so your partner can create you a super package!

Simply put together a nice package, containing at least 5 things, relating to your partner's goals and resolutions for New Year. Use your imagination and be creative!

Ideas:

Be healthier: low-fat cook book, encouraging magnet to hang on the fridge, food journal, cooking magazine, nice cooking utensils, pot holders, etc.

Read more: bookmarks, a book or two on their favorite subject, book log to keep track of what they have read, coffee or tea to enjoy with a book

Have more 'ME' time: bubble bath, relaxing CD, do not disturb sign for the bathroom door, candles

If your partner lists more than one resolution, you can include all of them, some of them or focus on just one of them.
Handmade items are welcomed and so are store bought ones. A mixture of the two is fine as well.

Guidelines:

  • Regional - USA/Canada
  • Good standing member of SoS
  • Quality package with at least FIVE resolution related items
  • Value: around $10 for the whole swap
  • List your resolutions/goals (as many or as few as you want) in the comments section below

My resolution is to be happy, or at least satisfied, with life. I know, that's a hard one, so some examples: I want to actually plant a flower garden so that I can sit on the porch at night with a drink and relax; I want to start taking long baths with a magazine again so that I have some time to myself; I want to make something new and revel in the feeling of accomplishment; I want to go out with my husband more often, even if it's just to the movies or for lunch, so that I don't feel so much like I'm stuck in a rut. Hopefully that gives some ideas!

Resolutions. Well of course the same ones I do every year. Bleh.

Eat healthier and excercise more
Redo my studio/craft room
Sort out all the boxes of photos and stuff that are lurking under my beds
Finish decorating my house
Do crafting or art or journaling daily

That's probably enough ideas for now.

I don't make resolutions, but I have tons of ideas for all you lovely ladies, so here goes.

~Plant a vegetable that I've never tried before. ~Try a journal project. ~Go beyond Black Eyed Peas and Green Day in my workout playlist. ~Look inward for peace.

Okay, so I thought for some reason I was going to edit my post, but instead I deleted it.

My resolutions:

  • Craft at least 50 projects
  • Organize my craft stash
  • Work on my housekeeping skills
  • Be healthier <---I wasn't going to include this one because it is so cliche, but it is true, so why not, right? I am joining a gym, so I might be serious about it this year.
