Description:

Spring is definitely coming to the Pacific Northwest! The daffodil & crocus bulb stems are coming up out the ground, the birds are chirping, and itÒ€ℒs still light out at 5PM when I leave work for home!

For this swap, you will create a flowery card for your partner and send it in a flowery envelope. This should help brighten up all our mailboxes!

Card Details Γ’β‚¬β€œ Please add one or more flowers to your card, using any technique you choose (rubberstamps, watercolor, color flower images, punched flowers, die cuts, paper flowers, etc.) The card doesnÒ€ℒt have to be 100% flowers; you could add other things to it if you want.

Envelope Details Γ’β‚¬β€œ Please decorate your envelope with flowers. You can make your own envelope (using decorative paper, a calendar page, magazine page, etc. Γ’β‚¬β€œ if using a magazine page, you may want to adhere it to a piece of copy paper to make it sturdy for mailing), or you could stamp or draw flowers on a plain envelope, etc. You could even add some flower stickers. The idea is to make the envelope Ò€œstand outÒ€ from all the bills & junk mail.

Please donÒ€ℒt just slap a sticker on a piece of paper and call the card done. Please send something you would love to receive.

This is a card that you will send to your partner; not for them to send, but for them to receive and enjoy. Please write a short (or long) message inside.

Thank you everyone, for signing up for my flower power swap. Just a few more days for the fun to begin.

I've done some flower paper sculpting with my Sizzix flower die cuts for the card & will be working on the envelope when partner is assigned.
