This is the second one for thrift store finds since it looked like you all enjoy doing this. Go to your thrift store like Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. etc. and find something to send your swapper. It can be an item from her profile of something you think she would like that you like too. Minimal amount should be spent on item, not dirty or torn in anyway. However, sending an old, old book may look that way and an interest to your swapper.Since in the USA lets do 2 swappers this time. Questions?? Newbies are welcome with a filled in profile. We all began as one. Would bann anyone with 1, unless good reason, my discretion. I will ask for angels if need be but trust those who sign up will be forthcomming. whats the minimum size package/box? should this be an item swapper would most likely enjoy more?

I think having a specified amount to spend ($5-8 for instance) would help give people a better idea on what they should send -- and a better idea of what they'll be receiving in return. Especially with a swap that is open to the sender's interpretation, it's extremely frustrating to get a package that seems as though little thought was put into it when you spent time and effort on your partner. Having a dollar amount helps eliminate at least one of those variables. :)

I disagree with the amount you spend. I think it is okay to spend whatever you can but if it is like $1.00 send two different things. There is no minimum box or package size to send either. I like to send things I think are neat or different and also checking their profile for something special. Different thrift stores charge different prices. I have found .50 items that were adorable and vintage. If you get something you feel is not to your liking, then save it for another swap but don't be critical please. Remember that some things are trash to one but a treasure to another.
