Description:

Do you love taking black & white photographs? For this swap, create two postcards from your own photography to mail to your partners. (You send one postcard to each partner, which means you send two postcards in total).

To create the postcards, have your photographs printed in a darkroom, at a photo lab or at home on your own photo printer. Adhere cardboard to the back of the photo to make it into a postcard (if required). Then write on the postcard, explaining a little about the photo, perhaps where it was taken and why you like it! Stamp and send naked (ie: no envelope) to your partner.

*** Remember - the photo you use MUST be your own original photograph and it must be Black & White.***

Newbies welcome with a well filled out profile. Subject matter is senders choice. If there's enough interest, I may create more swaps in the future that have themes (like flowers, landscapes, architecture etc) which would be a cool challenge! But for this one... any photographs from your collection is fine!
Swappers must have no recent 1's or 3's. Happy Swapping!!!

Does size matter...i.e., 3"x5", 4"x6", or 5"x7"(American)? Just curious as I get postcards from marketers in all of the above sizes. Thanks!

Neeky8 04/16/2010 #

Preferably 4"x6", however any size is ok!

FireRaven 04/16/2010 #

4" x 6" is what I used. w00t!

I'd love to join this but I am leaving on vacation on the 27th and won't be back til March 8th. Can I still join but be able to send late?!?!?

Neeky8 04/24/2010 #

rbd5050 - I'll be hosting more of these swaps in the future, so maybe it might be best to join the next one! Hope you have a great vacation!!!
