Description:

My first Paper trash = treasures went well and was very fun to do so here is my second one.

In this swap you will fill a journal with papers found on the street/ in the mall/ at the parking or where ever as long as it isn't your own trash. It can be any paper with text, for example:

cards, receipts, tickets, doodles, to-do-lists, candy bags (made of plastic but still litters with text so they are ok)

Well, anything that gives a glimpse into someone elses life.
Of course it can be a piece of something, paper trash are often ripped.

****To fulfill this swap and get a 5 you have to:****

*Buy or make a journal . If making it be sure it is well done.

*Find at least 60 paper litters

*Fill the journal with at least 20 pages

Beside/ under each litter you will translate (if the text isn't in English) and tell your partner where you found it and what it is.

Embellish and decorate the pages the way you want. If the litter itself is big or colorful perhaps embellishments and decorations aren't needed.
If you find something "beautiful" that hasn't got text on it you can use it as decoration.

Nothing "adult" or anything that can offend anyone

****Who can participate??****
*You must have 20 or more craft/ packages swaps completed
*You need a rating of at least 4,9
*No 1's or 3's this year
*You must have been logged in at least 2 days before last date to sign in

This is a swap that takes time and effort to complete and since it is international the cost is high. That's why my requirements are higher as well.

Remember: Since I live in Sweden there is a time difference, but I will assign partners as soon as possible. And before assigning I WILL CHECK ON EVERYONE to avoid flakers!!

This is an awesome idea!!! I'm still quite new here, so I don't have 20 swaps under my belt yet... I definitely hope that you'll run this again :)

Is there a minimum size that the journal has to be?

user2637 05/ 3/2010 #

Yay! I missed the last one, so have been on the look out for this one. I am, however, kinda a hermit; I don't go out too much and try to do things all in one day. I'll start collecting today but I worry I won't get 60, so could you give us a bit more time, please?

@secretterrabite It says: to fulfill and get a 5 you have to find at least 60 paper litters and fill at least 20 pages.
Otherwise the size of the journal can be how small or big you want it to. I suggest you can at least put a Haribo/ candy bag inside without folding it.
But since you have to find 60 litters the size isn't as important.

@user2637 I was the same myself so I took me out to places where I could find litters. It only took me 2,5 weeks to get 60 pieces so I think these 7 weeks will be fine.
It can be candy wraps/ bag, chewinggum packages as well as they have texts.

I went to local school areas in the evenings and on the walkside where lots of teenagers walk. I didn't go long away from my home, but I got me a walk and I found some litters.

Good Luck to you all!

7 weeks? Oh, hmm.. I may have read "June 1" where it says "July 1". heh. Sorry! :) That should be plenty of time, lol! I'm still really excited for this. :D I just located my MOOP bag (Matter Out Of Place) from Burning Man for easy litter collection.
