Hello Fellow Garlandiers! This is a suggestion from one of our group members....let's make a "laundry line" garland, which would be a horizontally hung (side-to-side) garland for our partner. Your garland should be laundry-line style, with little spring items hung along its length. Use those cute little clothespins, paper clips--almost any type of little hanger to attach your items to your line. Don't feel obligated to create ALL clothing to hang on the line; instead, choose spring items to hang from your laundry line. If you want to stick with the clothing theme, you could hang t-shirts all decorated with a spring theme or just cut from pretty spring paper! Requirements: 1 garland to 1 partner garland must hang horizontally (side-to-side) garland must be at least 24 inches (2 feet) in length items must be suspended along the length of the line by little clothespins or some other type of hanger (be creative here) no need to hang "clothes" from your laundry line--design is up to the individual artist Hope everyone will participate--this will be the first horizontal garland I'll be making and I'm looking forward to it! I have screened group members, so there should be no flakers. If you are interested in joining in the swap and want to become a group member, send a join request. Would anyone like to become a group officer and create swaps? I would love some more creative minds on board for this! |
