Description:

Lately I have been obsessed with crafting envelopes and matching notecards, and I go thru them so fast! however, I've pretty much made envies in every design of scrapbook paper that I own and they are starting to looking boring to me....but I still want more!

SWAP DETAILS

-For this swap you will have 1 partner.

-to your partner you will send 10 handmade envelopes with matching note cards. They must be at least 3 x 3 in size, big enough to write a decent amount on.

-you may use patterned scrapbook paper, cardstock, or any other durable paper medium intended for card or envelope making. You may NOT use magazine pages, newspaper, or anything similar in nature. I'd like this to be a little more traditional, like the type you would purchase from a store.

-you must send a variety of different colors/patterns, no more then 2 duplicates of any one particular color/pattern.

-lastly, please send along all of the templates that you used so that your partner can re-create them at home!

PARTICIPANTS

-this swap is open to everyone, newbies as well! Experienced swappers must have at least a 4.85 rating with no un-explained 1's or 3's in the last 4 months.

-All flakers will be banned from my future swaps, I will angel this swap if necessary.

If you are worried about international postage costs: please know that 10 envelopes & notecards measuring 3.5 x 5, mailed in a business envelope or bubble mailer, will weigh ABOUT 4 ounces. Postage for a 4 ounce package from the USA to Canada is $2.01 and to pretty much everywhere else it is $3.96.

Don't understand what you mean if you say send along the templates. Do you mean that if you use a stamp e.g. you should send that stamp along too?

@nathalie many people who make homemade envelopes use a pattern or a traceable outline before cutting into the paper and folding it into its final shape. That's what I mean by template :)

oh, and for those looking for envelope templates, there is a great resource here: http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2008/07/5-12-inch-square-envelope-template-lots.html
