Description:

OK - here is a quick and simple swap. This is an electronic swap in which you will post the answers to the following questions in the comments section of this swap:

What's your favorite type of BBQ? Eastern (vinegar-based) or Western (tomato-based) or other types?

Where is your favorite restaurant to get BBQ? Name, location, website link - if available, etc.

That's it - quick and simple! I think I can get the system to assign everyone as everyone's partners so that we can rate.

BBQ is one of my faves in this area-- I enjoy Hog Heaven located in Durham & Roxboro (the town I live in!) best! They are an Eastern BBQ restaurant.

Let's see, I really prefer tomato based BBQ, so I guess it would be Western for me. I do like White Swan (http://www.whiteswanbarbeque.com/) - they have several locations but I like the one in Smithfield and Wilsons Mills the best.

Yay! I was going to look up the BBQ place I like to go to when I visit my mom in Florida, and they just opened a store in Raleigh - hoorah!!! Woody's (http://www.woodys.com/home.html) is my absolute favorite place for Baby Back Ribs. Hubby is going to take me there for lunch one day next week for sure. If it had not been for this swap, I would have never known!

Ok, I love tomato based BBQ too. I grew up over on the western side.. (Caldwell County). I lived in Gaston County for a while and I have to say my favorite bbq place was (and still is) Hillbilly's. There's one in Gastonia, but I usually went to the one in Lowell. Besides BBQ (both sliced and pulled) they have a wonderful ginger chicken sandwich. yum!
I live in Concord now, and I hear there's a Hillbilly's in Charlotte but I havent been. The website is http://www.hillbillysbbqsteaks.com/ Check it out if youre close!
