:) well guess is better to tell my to-be-partner that i loooove candy, specially japanese, but also the strangest the better :D (just saw one today filled with chilli heheh) but I'm deadly allergic to grfapefruit and if there is a flavor I really don't like is mint and alcaçus (the black herby ones) :)

Whoever gets to be my partner, I so do not love licorice! At all! Other than that, I have a very healthy sweet tooth. Oh but candy filled with chilli? Don't know about that one, farruska! :)

Please NO licorice, no liqueur, mint or spearmint, candy with something that fuzzes in the mouth (when you reach the middle like chuppa chupp or whatever it's spelled ;P) if possible! I don't eat those. I'm open to japanese/asian candies and anything that tastes sweeeeeeett or surprises ;P

To my swap partner: I just have a sweet tooth. There's not any candy that I DON'T really like.

However, I LOVE White Rabbit candies, KinderEggs (I love these so so much), old fashioned candies, anything strong flavored (some of the spicy candies, candied ginger, strong black licorice, etc.) and anything "novelty" whether it's flavor or how it looks, etc. And, of course, chocolate. No pressure, though. Like I said, I just have a sweet tooth and I happen to love swapping.

there isn't much i don't like when it comes to candy! of course chocolate being my absolute favorite! the only thing i don't like is black licorice. icky icky! i am such a sweet addict! i have no allergies at all. this is a bonus swap too cause any interesting wrappers can be used in my atc's and other craftiness! :) sweet! hyuck hyuck!

I do like licorice, unlike most others posting here, and dark chocolate, nuts, old fashioned penny candy, molasses-mint salt water taffy, chocolate mint lentils, and if you are sending from outside th eUS, anything would be great, I love to try new things!

@Agnetha pic number 3 as you see is from me to Corine and it does belong to this swap, and already received Corine's good feedback through email. Is that quality or quantity that matters? I guess to you would be quantity so I'll keep that in mind if by any chance you become my partner in some future swap, don't worry about that) Just for notice, the typical portuguese sweets alone (the squared caramelized ones) costed more than the minimum value of this swap. on an aside note and don't take it personally, I found it very rude from you to comment on someonelse's received swap, if anybody should have any remarks to make like you seemed to, would be the receiver, which is, of course, not you. best regards.

farruska: I'm sorry. It wasn't my intention to make it sound like that. When I looked at the picture I got the impression that it was from 2 persons as it said Germany and Portugal. So I thought that it can't be for this swap as half of the stuff were from someone in Germany and half from someone in Portugal. I'm sorry that I missunderstood.

I just wanted to make a comment that this is an international swap and it seems that there were a lot of overseas participants, so some people may not get there swap boxes for a few weeks yet. I know that I had to send boxes to Australia and Singapore, and they will take about a month to arrive. To send them any faster was WAY too expensive (ie. $60). I guess all I am saying is that we knew we were getting into an international swap, so we should all be patient. I signed up all four members of my family, and we have only received one box, but I haven't even begun worrying yet.

I'm just curious to find out if my partner likes my candy :) And a bit worried too I guess as the post office say it takes about 6-7 days to reach my destination who I sent to (halfway around the world). So should be reached by now :) Guess I'm also exhited to see pictures of what other people had as it's so fun to see what you guys have in your countries!!

I know you can't trust the post office to 100%....but I have sent packages after this one (not to the same country but not far away) and they have been picked up!! So it's strange.....55 members and only 5 pictures so far of packages!!

never recieved anything. a little disapointed, frustrating because i know my partner sent it. i dont think i can do any international swaps anymore...i had to send a box to aus in another swap and it cost 50 bucks and never arrived AND i got a 1 rating because of it. i dont want to give my parnter a 1 because i know its not her fault. dang mail...

I am looking for candies called Neapolitans: they are taffy with chocolate, coconut, and strawberry. You can sometime get them with bulk candy, but I cannot not find them in Ohio. Is there anyone out there that can exchange Neapolitans for other candy?
