Description:

As far as I'm concerned, snail mail is basically the equivalent of having presents delivered to your house, and since I am in many ways a lot like a four year old I often find the packaging the most exciting part. Basically: hand decorated envelopes are awesome, so lets send some!

For this swap you will send one envelope each to two different partners. You can hand make your envelopes or decorate them by painting, drawing, stamping etc. Using stickers is fine but please don't use only stickers, put some effort into it. Note: the decorated envie is on the outside, not sent for your partner to use.

What you put inside the envelope is up to you. Suggestions include: an atc, a letter, a card, a sticker sheet etc. Something small but still nice. Remember to also include a note with the swap name and your swapbot username so you can be rated.

This is open to newbies with well filled out profiles and anyone else with 4.7+ and no recent unexplained no-sends.

Happy swapping!

I love your swaps! :)

Is there a minimum amount of things do we have to put in the envie?

Halogen 12/22/2010 #

Just a note with your name + the swap name an one nice thing of your choice (card, bookmark, atc, letter, sticker sheet, post-it/memo pad etc). You can of course put more. I'm leaving it up to you what you send but don't send something really tiny like one button. As a guideline maybe three or four nice buttons, five or so sticker flakes, a couple pieces of ribbon etc would be ok if you want to send multiple smaller things.

I see.. thank you.. :)

katjh 12/22/2010 #

just a concern.. :)

I'm on my iPhone and traveling. How do I find my partners?

Halogen 12/27/2010 #

@Retread71 at the top right of this page is a yellowish box, one of the options in it is "See the partners you send to". Click that and their addresses with pop up.

Thanks halogen, the screen is tiny and I couldn't find it. This is my first swapbot swap. But not my first swap...0

Envelopes done. Off to see what I can stuff them with.

Soooo sad, because one of my partners has been suspended and I never got anything from her :(( Probably wont get anything.

Halogen 02/ 8/2011 #

@adrianaclara sorry to see such a bad swapper got into one of my swaps, unfortunately all the ones that got her suspended came after the sign up date. I'll message you about organizing an angel.

Note: anyone else who this relates to, please let me know if you never receive anything by PM, I don't usually check message threads once everyone has marked sent. Even if you just want me to try contacting your partner for you (as host I have their real email).
