Do you love scrapbooking? Do you have a ton of pretty paper, misc. pictures, stickers, brads, stamps, embellishments, or quotes, poems, songs and stories that you’ve collected? Then this is the swap for you! 1) Make 1 mini scrapbook for 1 partner. Some might call them zines, decos, multiple page cards, booklets, or journals… 2) Mini Scrapbooks should be no smaller than 5 X 7 and no larger than 8 1/2 X 11. They should have a front and back cover and 4-6 pages. Feel free to include one blank page for your partner to create a layout. 3) Mini Scrapbooks should be bound in a neat and creative manner using brads, stitching, staples with a long reach stapler (3-4 down the centre). Do not slap a few pieces of paper together and staple them on the side and avoid the use of construction paper. Instead consult craft books and the Internet for a variety of binding materials and methods. 4) Be sure to write the following on the inside of the back cover, the number of the scrapbook, date made, artist name and location (e.g. Mini Scrapbook #1, May 2010, Sassy Susie, Stanton, South Dakota). 5) This is a sender’s choiceswap , NO THEMES, but looking at your partners’ profiles to see what they have a passion for is advised. There is no sense sending a book that your partner wouldn’t enjoy. Let your creative juices flow! 6) Be sure to include a note with the name of this swap and your Swap-bot ID. After all isn’t swapping all about sharing a pleasant hello. Participant Screening: Must have a fully completed profile (not just a few lines). Must have completed 5 swaps, have a 4.8+ status and no unexplained 1 or 3’s. I will list all flakes and will angel, but I trust that won’t be necessary. |
