EDIT: So sorry for the confusion that was just pointed out to me. The directions read a bit ambiguous. My intention was for us to send ONE journal page to each partner. I can see how the directions could be read either way and I apologize. COULD YOU LET ME KNOW IF YOU ALREADY SENT 2 PAGES TO EACH OF YOUR 2 PARTNERS. I'LL SEND YOU A COUPLE GOODIES FOR YOUR ABOVE AND BEYOND TRADING :-)

This is the first time I've set up a swap, so let me know if you have questions or I've left out any needed info. Wahoo!

This is going to be a swap of journal pages--not journals. Page size: approx 8x10. Embellish one side of a fairly heavy paper. Paint it, stamp it, stencil it, add collage--make it beautiful or fun. Then, add your favorite quote (non-religious, please).

We are going to trade 2 for 2. Make 2 pages to send to 2 different partners. Receive 2 pages from 2 different partners. These pages will need to be mailed flat with a piece of cardboard so they won't get bent.

Have fun & do something to WOW your partners.

Can I request a smaller page? I have started a journal that is slightly smaller than 8" x11". Just send me a message if I am one of your partners - thanks.

I would also like to suggest a smaller format. In some countries (the UK being one) postage charges are higher for larger format mail, regardless of its weight. As this is an international swap, perhaps something smaller, cheaper to post, and less likely to get damaged in transit would be better.

A smaller format would be fine with me. When we assign partners, we can set that up. For international postage, what would be an acceptable size?

Something that fits in a 6" by 9" enveleope? Is that too small?

I am a HUGE fan of receiving art from other countries. So, let's say that if you are shipping or receiving internationally, it's a 6x9--or would fit into a 6x9 envelope.

Hey all, partners have been assigned. If you have some size requests, please message your partners. Have fun!
