This is a simple swap. I love winter--as you might have guessed from the title! I just love the sparkly glittery snowiness of winter. And I love all those pretty sequins, little craft buttons, icicle and snowflake stickers, etc... So the swap is this: Take a full size ziploc-type sandwich bag and stuff it with all those little winter/snow goodies that are too good to pass up in the craft stores. Really stuff it! You should not just put confetti. Try for sequins, winter color items also like ribbons, brads, buttons, snowmen, snowflakes... You might even include the plastic iridescent icicles that you hang on the tree. Stickers are also a good idea. Maybe even a cheap stamp with a winter themed thing on it. They have some really inexpensive ones for between $1 to $2 at the craft stores right now. Next, get a winter themed ornament--at least $5, please. This could be hand-made so it is variable. Try for winter colors or sparkly winter colors. Nothing that screams Christmas. For instance, I love snowflakes and I might leave them hung above my windows thru January just for decoration. For hearts include an ATC or matchbox or altered postcard...etc.... For instance if one of my partners knits, I might include winter colors stitch markers. I encourage you to check out your partners profile Now for the fine print: No one below a 4.6. Newbies okay with a really well filled out profile and at least one mailed out swap. Contact me if you think you'd like to participate and are not sure if you fit requirements. I reserve the right to ban for previous flaking, or if something seems wonky. US only please. *****I forgot to add...please include a little note about why and what you love about winter and any aspect of the season (I will probably wax poetic about snowflakes...) |
