Description:
In this swap you will send TWO jointed paper dolls to one partner. Each doll should be made of sturdy materials and be at least 6 inches tall. Your dolls can be any dress or style. You can use fashions from a magazine, hand-drawn features, flower petals, fairy wings, paint, fabrics, or anything you can imagine in a creative paper doll. Arms, legs, wings, or head can be jointed with brads, jump rings, or any other method you choose. Remember to put your user name so your partner can rate you. Make this a challenge for yourself, and send something special to your partner. Please no flakers, and you must have a rating of 4.9. Any questions, let me know. Happy Swapping!!

Just wondering why this is regional, as paperdolls are pretty lightweight and both are going to one partner. I'm asking out of sheer selfishness, of course, as I live in South Korea and would love to participate! :)

I see a lot of watchers, so perhaps there are others who are in the same boat, or interest enough to start a similar swap but international?

If anyone wants to set up an international swap, feel free to cut and paste any info you want to use! I just mailed a small package to the UK and spent WAY too much money, so I need to stick to US swaps for a while :)

I just signed up for the swap and I'm so looking forward to it. I was just thinking that polymer clay might be kind of cool as a base. Would that be OK? It was just a thought. : )

Sounds good to me! We are swapping paper dolls, so I think partners will be expecting dolls with some paper on them. The description does invite you to use any other media you want to add! Have fun!

I love swapping.I have to agree sending international is some what expensize.I have been keeping to US, for now.I just need to cut back on my expensizes.Love this idea.Just so afraid I will not be able to make a nice enough doll to send.I am gonna make one tonight.If it works out.I will jump from watching into joining.Love this swap :)
