If your postcards come from Pomegranate, you probably have a lot of portrait PCs. I don't know about you, but I have a difficult time finding swaps that those portrait PCs work for, other than unloading them in a sender's choice swap. But I wanted to get a little more creative. For this swap, you will send one (1) PC to two (2) partners. The PC must be a portrait (I don't care about where you got the PC, Pomegranate was just an example). Ideally, the portrait will be an unknown person because the next part will be less fun if it is a well-recognized person. On the back, you will write a fictional story about that person. This is not a swap for you to research the person in the portrait and tell their story. Make it up! Ideas for the story: What was their name? Where are they from? Why did they get their portrait taken? What was their job? Their hobbies? Who were their closest friends? What was their best or worst memory? I realize many of these portrait PCs give the subject a name. You can use the name, or disregard it. I hope this sounds fun to you! The breakdown:
For rating purposes: As long as the PC features a person's face and there is a story on the back, this deserves a 5 rating. I can't control whether your partner makes up a fictional story/identity about a recognizeable figure. Questions? Don't hesitate to ask! |
