The Proust Questionnaire has its origins in a parlor game popularized (though not devised) by Marcel Proust, the French essayist and novelist, who believed that, in answering these questions, an individual reveals his or her true nature. Here is the basic Proust Questionnaire.

1. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

I am making this Type 2 for people who live in the USA. Because of the craziness of the international mail, I would like you to think of an email option. If you are in Canada or any other countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand, etc. please let your partner know that you will send an email. If you are in the USA you may send an email but my goal is to foster pen friendships so I will personally make it a letter sent via traditional mail.
