I'm Amber, I am 18 years old and I live in the South East of England, about twenty minutes away from London. I don't like where I live, and I want to get to know others from around the world, and exchange gifts and letters.

I hope to make some new friends through this website! I'm already a member of a "pen pal" website, and I want to get a bit more creative with my packages and letters. So hopefully this is the place for me. I have also started a scrapbook, however it's going rather slowly as it's hard to balance my time sufficiently.

I have swapped in the past with my friends in other countries. Mostly small things, like envelopes, writing paper, postcards, pens etc.

I have many favourite books. My favourite authors at the moment are:

I am open to all genres, and I get a bit carried away when buying books on the internet! I also buy loads, and then don't have a chance to read them all. I have about 40 books on my to be read pile at the moment.

I'm not allergic to anything (that I know of); so please feel free to send whatever you like, without the worry of putting me in hospital.

I do have cats and dogs, however, they are NOT allowed in my room so everything should be pretty much hair free. However, I can't guarantee this 100% because these hairs can get everywhere.

My mother does smoke, but like the animals, she doesn't venture into my room where I sort out the swaps/letters. So, they will most definitely be smoke free.

Kawaii! I would be thrilled to receive stickers, flakes, memos, cabochons, beads, charms, decotape, lettersets, pens, pencils, etc.

Chocolate/Sweets: I don't like dark chocolate, fruit chocolate or licorice. Other than that, I'm pretty easy when it comes to food! My favourite chocolates are those Milka bars. You don't see them very often here. And I've never tried a Hershey bar :(

Post Cards: Any post card. This isn't a good start to my likes and dislikes, however it's 100% true. Postcards for me give an insight to you (the sender) and so I love receiving any - even the crude ones!

Craft Stuff: I'm really loving deco tape at the moment. Not too sure why, but I love the stuff. Black and white photographs of scenery. So pretty. Decent writing pens. Can't get enough of them, I enjoy writing in different styles so a good pen is important. I also like gel pens, coloured pens, glitter pens, themed pens and permanent pens. Just pens pens pens!

Themes/Styles: Polka dots, stripes, stars, swirls, dinosaurs, flowers, bumblebees, monkeys, frogs, cats, dogs, rabbits, anime, dragonflies, lips, neon, strawberries, cherries, oranges.

Colours: Any type of blue, purple, lilac, silver, grey, green, orange, pink, red, black, white (not technically a colour, but oh well), yellow, turquoise, topaz, amethyst, gold, bronze, neon! In short, bright colours. None of the drab mustard colours please!
