About Me

Hi ... My name is Karrie. I am 42, married with a very ornery 2 1/2 yr old. I am a stay at home mom & wife. I am a terrible housekeeper but I am trying to be better!

My favorite thing to do is thrift shop & yard sale. I am working on a new hobby because my house is about to explode with all my treasures. I also love to color ... My daughter and I spend hours doing it! We just painted a wall and our front door with chalk board paint .... It's going to be fun!!

I love doing paper crafty types of things so I am trying to make it my "main" hobby. I love to doodle. I want to do scrapbooking but I think I am going to lean more towards project life. I love smash books, junk journals and the eccentric magpie!!

I want to paint but I am scared. I just need to do it and worrying about if it's perfect.

I love ephemera and am trying to lean towards repurposing things for my paper crafts.

I love vintage, lace, tea cups,shabby & primitive My favorite color is orange. I love rainbows, owls, foxes, and of course magpies. I love houses, black & white pictures, bridges, flowers, mermaids, paper dolls & most things odd.

I have started a planner and hoping it will help keep my mind in order so I can get more things done in my day. If you have any tips ... Please let me know - I need all the help I can get.

I collect: playing cards, flash cards, game pieces, Rolodex cards, book marks, vintage, birdcages, emphemera (esp in different languages), paper clips, beads, sequins, envelopes, & stuff I can use in a journal.
