Favorite Crafts

I love knitting! I am addicted to wool: I knit it, dye it, sell it, fondle it :) I really like natural fibers best. I also sew a lot of baby things like longies from recycled sweaters and I make cloth diapers and diaper covers. My stash is ridiculous; it's like a fabric/yarn store in here lol!

Favorite colors/themes

I love vintage stuff from the 1920's-40's; flappers, pinup girls, swing bands, ephemera from old records and books. I have an ironic and dark sense of humor, for whatever that info is worth.

Comment: Your handmade postcards are wonderful! How do you develop the sepia color? I've had color film developed as b/w with a similar effect. I love to find a little bird placed somewhere on artwork. Yours are adorable.
Response: Thank you! I tinkered with that photo quite a bit using just really basic photo software. It's a digital photo! I loved the way it looked sort of vintage, so I played that up. I printed it w/ink jet onto hot pressed watercolor paper. Easy peasy!
