I’m a pre-pandemic empty-nester, who has refilled the nest! My daughter came to visit with her gf for college spring break, and it has become summer break... thank goodness we all like crafting, and can agree on most of our binge-watching choices.

Currently living in North Carolina, I usually live in Chicago.

I like a number of crafts! Currently cardmaking, mail art, mixed media, art journaling, knitting, and cross stitch.

2021 Word of the Year

BELIEVE

There's a quiz I take every year to get my word of the year. It has been remarkably successful for me to get my word this way; the words have been pretty much perfect every time, and I don't spend tons of time dithering about what the right word is!

So I'm pretty happy with Believe as my word for 2021, with a number of things on deck for the year!

Yay 2021! Hurray new word BELIEVE!

(for the curious, my 2020 word was Stand... ponder that one, you readers of Stephen King!)
