I am a wife and mother of 5 children. I am the director of the children's ministry at my church. I have been serving in that way for about 10 years. I am also on the Board of Education in my town. I have a master's degree in music education and am looking forward to returning to teaching when my children are older.

I love to do various craft activities when the time allows. I enjoy scrapbooking, crocheting, knitting, and cooking/baking. I love to do these with people because I enjoy building relationships.

I am just starting out learning a little about photography. Have just purchased a nice camera and am learning how to use it. My favorite subjects to photograph are my husband and kids, of course. :)

My most favorite book is the Bible. I am constantly learning and growing as I seek God more and more.

I love to read children's books. Nightly my husband and I read to our five children.. One of my favorite author's is Margaret Wise Brown. Two Little Trains is my favorite book by her.

I love the oldies but goodies; anything by Ruth Krauss, Beatrix Potter, Virginia Lee Burton, Alan Ahlberg, Robert McCloskey, etc.

My oldest daughter and I have read the Chronicles of Narnia series together and now we are beginning the Little House series. We are actually looking to start a mother/daughter book club this fall.

In addition to children's books, I enjoy reading books about psychology, spiritual growth, music, parenting and child development. And I like to research as well.

Some of my favorite Christian authors are: Beth Moore, Gary Chapman, Francine Rivers, C.S. Lewis.

I don't nearly have as much time to read as I would like, but I read as much as I can. :)

I mostly listen to Christian music, but I enjoy almost all types of music. I am a music teacher by trade so I have a passion for good quality children's music.

Some of my favorite Christian artists are Vicki Beeching, Hillsng, Chris Tomlin, Beckah Shae, Brit Nicole, Lincoln Brewster, and New Life Worship.

I enjoy listening to Johnny Cash, Michael Buble, Sam Cooke, Motown, 80s, and keeping up with my kids musical interests.

I play the trumpet and am part of my local community band and enjoy making music with my kids.

I love classical, jazz, and folk tunes.

I love teaching and am always looking for new things to incorporate into my lesson plans.

I have 5 children; three boys and two girls.

1 - Girl, 10 years old She loves to read quality literature such as the award winning books. And loves to read series books. Her favorite authors currently are Karl Hiassen and Andrew Clements. She loves Taylor Swift (went to see her in concert a couple months ago), Brit Nicole, Beckah Shae, and Group One Crew. She loves to dance and takes Tap and Ballet currently and likes hip-hop. She likes to paint- paint by number, canvas, oil paints, water colors

2 - Boy, 8 years old He LOVES Legos! He is always building new creations with his Legos. He enjoys bulding the Star Wars Lego sets. He enjoys doing puzzles and drawing. He enjoys playing outdoor games; baseball, football, foursquare, and ga-ga. He has been wrestling for about 3 years now and is getting better every year! :) His favorite sports teams are the Boston teams. Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Revolution.

3 - Girl, 6 years She loves anything that her older sister does, but won't let that on. :) Her favorite activities are singing, dancing, and playing with her stuffed animals. She is a whiz at reading even though she doesn't like it very much. She loves to be read to, but not to read on her own. I Can Read books are her favorite. She loves anything princess related and loves to draw pictures of people, nature, and rainbows. She enjoys playing on her Leapster.

4 - Boy, 4 years He loves Legos and super heroes! He is going into Preschool this year and so is excited every day to be doing some sort of "school work." His favorite school things to do are cut and paste, tracing letters, and math. He loves to watch movies. His favorite movies are Cars and The Incredibles. And just about anything else Disney. He loves to dress up like superheroes.

5 - Boy, 2 years He is our "just happy to be here" child. He is thrilled to be doing anything else that the rest of the family is doing. He is currently potty training and will hopefully be done in a couple of weeks! Yay!! He loves Mickey Mouse and Buzz Lightyear. His favorite toys to play with are vehicles, dinosaurs, and any kind of ball. (All boy, right?!?!)

We love to do things together as a family. Go on trips, play games, read, etc. I am truly enjoying these days with my young kids and I know it will go by fast!

What I Like

Quality time with my friends, reading, quality children's literature, taking pictures with my new camera (Nikon D3100), knitting or crocheting for people I love (even though I don't have enough time to do all I would like), listening to worship music, playing my trumpet, learning new activities, Lucky Charms cereal, playing Rockband
