Howdy!

I live in mostly Sunny Florida, USA. Not so far from the beach. The weather is great most of the time. There are lots of cool birds here too, which I love. One day I want to make friends with a crow. I am a nurse and have a grown child in college. I was an exchange student in Argentina forever ago and I love speaking Spanish which I do really well. I know a little Portuguese.

I used to do swaps many years ago and just got back into it. I used to do Fatbooks, ATCs, Mail Art. I have already started swapping mail art at IUOMA and would love to get into more swaps.

Things I love:

Cats, purple stuff, hag stones, heart shaped stones, Day of the dead, Frida Kahlo, anything science related, postage-related things and fake or real cancelled stamps, anatomical art and goodies, classical Asian art and Buddha (not so much the happy buddha), art of all kinds, vintage ephemera, reading, travel, healthy vegan cooking, swimming, musical theater, writing to penpals.

Things that don't resonate with me:

Religion - I respect everyone's belief but we should all have our own ways of believing Gore - Being a medical professional, I like anatomical but not gory

Ted Lasso! That is all.

Current obsessions are embroidery (I am doing an embroidery journal for 2024), crochet, mail art, collage. I just discovered Gelli plates so if we do a swap, good chance that you’ll get some of my printed papers. 😃
