I was reading through Leviticus and saw this scripture,it is about our Lord God and believing. The Lord said ' Do not make idols or set up statues,stone pillars or carved stones for worship. I am thee LORD your GOD keep the religeous festivals and honer the place where I am worshiped. I am the LORD.
Leviticus 3v1-2
I love this scripture, I can feel God's presence when I go to church. God is with us in our lives.When the story in Sunday School is a bit difficult to teach the children I hear a voice saying do this!!!

The scripture I chose is one of my favourite stories, it is when God flooded the world and God asked Noah to build an Ark and to take his family and 2 of every living creature into the ark. The floods came and when the flood went. God gave Noah a new covenant . GOD said'As a sign of this everlasing covenant which I am making with you and with all living beings. I am putting my bow in the clouds, it will be my covenant with the world. Whenever I cover the sky with clouds and the rainbow appears. I will remember my promise to you and to all that a flood will never again destroy all living beings. When the rainbow appeard in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between me and and all living beings.on earth. Trust in the sign of the promise which I am making to all living things.' GENESIS 9 V 14-17.
When I see a rainbow, I think how wonderful God is. and his promise he made.
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand."
Psalm 37:23-24
This was an encouragement to me this week. God is always with us even when we mess up, ready to pick us back up again. He is faithful!

Hi Joshualyn! I like your name... it's like a combination of two names, just like how my country people give names to their children.
Well anyways, here's the verse that has greatly encouraged me:
I saw this posted outside of the door in a dormitory where my friend is renting.
At some point of our lives, I know there will be lots of discouragement. That's why God is reminding us to encourage one another.
Well, we're certainly not perfect... and extra grace is indeed handful. Good thing we have a good God!
