I am a free spirit. I am what most would call a young hippie, since I was born after the hippie movement. I live in a small town on an island and love it here. I spend my free time being creative with my crafts and relaxing in the quiet outdoors (inbetween calling for my dog and watching for bears). I have a wonderful husband, two pitt bulls and a cat.

There may not be any crafts I don't like...but my absolute favorites are crochet, knitting, book binding/journal making, paper making, tie dye, collage and sewing. I love trying new crafts and incorporating them into each other. I would much rather make something if I can instead of buy.

My biggest and proudest project (so far) is definately my wedding dress, using two one pound cones of white cotton yarn I crocheted my entire dress, and lined it with a cotton fabric. Amazingly when I completed the dress, it was a perfect fit, no adjustments needed!

A few years back I took a book binding class with a dear friend of mine. Since then I have been addicted. I have more journals then I know what to do with.

I have been a crocheter for many many years, but just recently taught myself to knit. My mother in law gave me a knitting pattern a day calendar one Christmas and so I decided I would have to learn. I really like to combine the two.

My all time favorite band is the Beatles. I am also a huge fan of Bob Dylan. I enjoy most music types but would say my favorite genre is Alternative Rock.

I love the color red, flames, retro prints, bright colors and Peace Signs...and Tie Dye!!!!

My dream job would be selling my crafts, selling custom made items or teaching craft classes.
