..........................................................................
I always glue the stamp on the card, go to the postoffice to put the datestamp on it and THEN I insert the card into the protection sleeve. So I have both: protection and a naked sent card.
If you glue the stamp outside on the protection sleeve stamp and datestamp will go lost after removing the sleeve. So it`s the same like sending in an envelope and not sent naked anymore.
..........................................................................
Our postoffice closes monday - friday at 12.30 pm. There is no mail pick up during the weekend or on bankholidays. So my envelopes may carry a later datestamp than my sent date says, because I click sent after I put them into the mailbox, if I don`t need to meet the postmistress.
I`m in my sixties, a quilter for 30 years and a lucky knitter.
A while ago I felt in love with paper crafting, mixed media and especially with mailart. I love to do collages, to play with colours and materials.
I spent a lot of time being creative and I always put time and effort in my swaps.
Making my art is very important for me.
I always read the profile from my swap-partner, hopefully to find something I can use for the swap, especially when the swap says sender`s choice.
Therefore I appreciate that my swappartner will do the same for me.
Honestly I have to say âŚ. I always will give hearts for the swap, not for the extras, which are not necessary.
