About Me

Hmmm. I'm a tad crazy, mom of 2 teens (15F & 14M), 2 grumpy old men cats, and my other half on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I'm trying to move our family more towards self-reliance (ie: growing more of our own food, dual purpose chickens, bees, ect). Currently fighting cancer again after being in remission for 14 years... Prefer eating locally grown/raised food. I enjoy doing a very wide range of things including: crafting, sewing, quilting, scrapbooks, gardening, cooking, baking, canning/preserving, photography, swimming, games, and playing with my kids. :)

Comment: Recipes where a bit late, however she explained she had some personal problems (it happens to everyone sometimes, so I understand!) and she sent a lot of extra (and interesting!) recipes. Thank you! Hope what ever problems caused the delay are no longer troubling you :)
