Hey! My name is Kate, and I live in a small town in South Carolina, USA. I am 22 and in my first year teaching Middle School Band. I am an Oboe and Trumpet player myself. As I figure out my new work-life balance, and I am seeking to immerse myself in old hobbies that I love, such as snail mail.

Some of my favorite things are spending time with my cat, making jewelry, thrifting, trying new food, traveling, and whatever craft I am into at the time. I am very passionate about mental health, human rights, and making my LGBTQ+ students feel loved in this community that is not very accepting. My latest craft adventures have been making stained glass, dried flower and resin jewelry, and crochet.

My travel bucket list is long, but I am currently starting to plan a cross country road trip to see more of the US. One day I am hoping to go overseas to Japan, The Netherlands, and Germany (where a friend of mine is about to move to).
