HI - I am Annie! I am 27, I am from a small agricultural town in northern alberta. In my town we have 3 types of people, farmers, hutterites and Mormons. im not complaining about any of them.
I am an odd female for this town. at 27 I am the only straight - not or have not been - married, knocked up, tied down, dropped out of high school, addicted to drugs, part of the hutterites and even though my family is I am NOT Mormon.
I finished university, I work full time as a pharmacist assistant. I am a pharmacist but there are no jobs in this town for that position right now and I don't want to move so ive taken a "step down" and I don't mind it.
I collect zines, riot grrls basic paper airplanes cheer the eff up sister blue telegram dear you revolution of my life: learning to eat okay
I also collect postcards my favourite being, florals deers woodland creatures butterflies touristy paris cards touristy London cards touristy new Hampshire cards skulls momento mori art cards
anything strange I love odd cards, so don't be afraid to send me your weird and wonderful cards
I collect skulls and skull art, not the morbid kind, but the girly kind. I love animal skulls ive been known to scour for cow and bull skulls from the local butchers I paint them florally or make candle holders out of them and sell them at farmer markets. I also love sugar skulls
Summertime, Warm nights, Gardening, Coffee and Tea, zines, books, music of all kinds. skulls, vintage photography, homemade envelopes, hand written letters, the colors purple, gold, red, and tiffany blue kind people who aren't doormats, apologies when warranted. safe drivers. flat land [mountains are nice but I love wide open spaces]
I get a lot of my postcards handed down, my uncle is an avid postmark, stamp, postcard collector and has been taking me to garage sales, estate sales, and closing of post offices for years. i recently came into ownership of a box of probably 150 postcards. all vintage, i have put them into a giant plastic tub with baking soda for a week and then in with a fabric sheet for 2 weeks and have managed to eradicate the smell.
just a warning that none of my non tourist postcards are new, all of them have imperfections, little bends in the corners are the most of problems. nothing i would be ashamed to send or receive.
if you have a problem with these please let me know and i will press them before i send them. although i don't know how well that will work but we can try it.
if you are not pleased with the cards feel free to let me know and i will resend some.

That's awesome!!! That's amazing you were able to find some originals!! I had a huge photo book/collage but unfortunately when we moved I put it in a bag with my mother's wedding album to my dad and somehow it got mildewed :( my mother's wedding album was fine (thanks goodness) but my pretties were destroyed!! All I had were copies so no originals were destroyed but it broke my heart, all the work I put into my collage down the crapper!!
