PLEASE NOTE: I am a long way down under in Australia. So if you dont get something from me, pleeeeease contact me first, the snail mail system isnt foolproof!

I am enjoying this too much to be flaker, and would not flake on anyone, so dont flake on me, please!

Also, I worry about my swaps not arriving, and the only way I know they have reached their destination is when I get a rating (hint, hint!!!)

I am a fifty sumthing female, living in beautiful Perth, Western Australia. Have done most crafts in my life, as my cupboards can attest.

I love: food, wine, sunsets over the ocean from my balcony, the colour blue, butterflies, flowers and horses... in particular my lovely Welsh foal Bryn (short for Brynderwyn) born 14 October 2007. Sadly, his Dam, my beautiful Bessie, went to the Big Paddock in May '08.

Dont really like: things that are too "cute" eg kawaii, or Hello Kitty, except of course fabric for my doll clothes!

Also, Australia has very strict quarantine regulations to protect our agriculture, so seeds, foodstuff, etc, maybe confiscated!

Favorite Music

Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, Acoustic, some classical.

Favorite Movies

On Golden Pond, The Sound of Music.

Favorite Television

Dont watch much TV, but I do enjoy British Comedies.

Favorite Crafts

Scrapbooking, ATC's, knitting and cross stitch, and I love making doll clothes for my Etsy shop. Past crafts include leatherwork, macrame, wool spinning, patchworking, stained glass and porcelain doll making.

Comment: Thank you for the ATC! The holder/card you sent it in is very neat. Where did you find it?
Response: It is just a blank card. I cut slits with a craft knife so I can slip in the ATC. I find it good when a swap is 1 ATC only, and it allows me to send it at the "Card Only" rate, about 70 cents cheaper. The australian postage to the States has just gone up to $2 standard letter!

Comment: Your 8's are fantastic! Cutting an eight out of one paper and gluing it on another paper and stamping on them. I found it quite innovative and will probably copy your technique in future endeavors. Awesome!

Funny thing is, my friend's daughter's name is also Maddy, and she's from Australia too, so when I got the envelope and opened it, I first thought it was from her! LOL!
