I was born and raised on Canada's west coast by the ocean and the mountains. After many travels this is still where I want to call home.

I am a new time mama (my daughter just turned one) and a long time crafter. I am trying to find the right balance for the both of us.

My favourite way to create is sewing. I love to make kids' clothing, bags, tea cozies, pillow cases and the occasional clothing for me. I love working with cotton, linen and wool. I love natural and muted tones &vintage and japanese fabrics.

I also knit but consider myself not much more than a beginner. But I keep picking up the needles every year when the weather starts to turn.

I love learning new crafts and the next things on my list are: embroidery, crochet, cross stitching, quilting and printing.
