I am 38, I am a mother of four children. My girls are 10, 7, and 6. My little boy is 3 and he has Autism. My favorite things are public: education, library, and radio.
I am easy to please because getting mail is always wonderful. But, if you really want to find something I like, you can gaze over these words that I love and see what you are inspired to choose or create.
Cats, letter Q, purple,
80's, mothers and children, paper,
collage, calico, postcard,
folk, faces, stories, big eyes,
English tins, art nouveau, poetry,
forgotten, remembered, esoteric,
Prince, carved stamp, thoughts,
40's, words, writing, Victorian,
thrift, Halloween, world religions,
obscure, old, journal, portraits,
letterboxing ~all about you~. :)
If you are in a swap with me relating to music, I prefer to hear what you love, not something tailored to my favorites.
The girls are ages 10, 7, and 6. My little boy is 3.
To make an easy read, I'll list their interests lumped together:
Things to write with
Things to write on
Postcards (they all collect)
Pressed pennies
Candy
Hair accessories
Jewelry making items
Crazy socks and tights
Rocks and gems
Bottle caps
Themes they like:
American Girl, Muppets, Jim Hensen, Scooby Doo, Harry Potter, Princesses and Fairies, Frogs, turtles, owls, cats, horses, elephants, Thomas the Tank Engine (esp. James) In the Night Garden Bob the Builder
A bit about them individually:
Jaden is 10: Favorite colors: Orange-Brown-Turquoise, she loves math and magic. Harry Potter, Warriors (by Erin Hunter), Fashion design, neon.
Maya is 7: She loves all the colors of the rainbow, but especially white. She loves funny faces and can be gross :-P, She plays violin, loves Korean culture, and wants to teach cats tricks when she grows up.
Rhoslyn is 6: She is my girly-girl. She likes pink, hair accessories, frilly and cuddly things, and roses. She likes Hello Kitty (especially Kerropi).
For my son:
Thomas the Tank Engine, the Alphabet, images of foods (especially fruits and veggies), trains, anything with wheels, In the Night Garden, and songs.
They wear sizes 12, 10, and 7. My son wears a 4T
Used/thrift items are fine, but please don't send something you wouldn't want your own kids to have.
I'm updating this list (8/2011) because I know it was very vague before. I hope this helps, but we are so easy to please. We love to see the favorite candies/foods in your part of the world/country, and to know which you enjoy. Every swap like this is a geography lesson first, and a chance to try tasty sweets second.
My favorite flavors are: Chocolate with interesting flavors (see my ~don't like~ list below). I love coconut, mint, raisins, banana, citrus, rootbeer, berries, and peanut butter (but not all in the same candy, Lol!)
My kids enjoy these flavors: watermelon, butterscotch, cotton candy or anything super sweet.
We do NOT like these flavors at all: coffee/mocha, maple, black walnut, very dark chocolate unless in combination with something sweet.

Thank you for the heart!)) I`m really glad you like my postcard))
I created another postcard challenge swap. Hope to see you again for this round! Take care, GT
Absolutely! Beautiful poem. I'd much rather see your words than the inspiration behind writing them. After all, inspiration is only a kick in the pants to take action. thanks for the additional postcard, It was worth it.
