Update: I have been away for a while and since I have last been here I have finished my PhD and moved to the USA to start my first real job using my degrees. Now that I have settled in I would like to start doing this again since I had so much fun last time.

I am a graduate student in Australia, who loves getting mail. I have been sending letters to my sister who lives overseas but would like to get more mail.And they say you need to send mail to get mail, so I thought I would give this a go.

I like to make things and am trying to get better at crafty things. I have realised recently that my life is basically university and hanging out with my dog so I am trying to branch out and try new things.

I have an unhealthy obsession with stationary and cannot leave a newsagent or the like without buying something new. Also as an ex-gymnast I have a soft spot for all things glitter.

I am allergic to both peanuts and strawberries. My peanut allergy is not too severe but my strawberry allergy is life threatening so please do not send anything with strawberries, strawberry flavoured, or scented (real or chemical). Thank you
