On break/away until November 1st! Will catch up on any ratings at that time.
Hi, everyone!
I’m a 27 year old snail mail and stationery enthusiast. I love all things paper - planners, journals, stickers, letters, postage stamps, you name it. I penpal and postcross and I’ve ventured to Swap-Bot in the hopes of exchanging more postcards as well as handmade paper crafts (ATCs, postcards, etc. - at the moment I’m a beginner and not super confident in mine, though!)
A little about me…
I have four mini Australian Shepherds, whose names are Wendy Darling, Mr. Banks, Peaches, and Gus Gus. I don’t have any kids, but I make up for it by spoiling the Aussie Posse rotten.
As you may have gathered from my dogs’ names, I’m a huge fan of Disney - parks and movies (my favorites being Hercules, The Emperor’s New Groove, and Lilo and Stitch.)
I run an Etsy shop where I sell planner stickers and have recently begun listing snail-mail related things like PDT and return address labels (linked above!)
I’m a bookworm who enjoys middle grade and young adult fiction/fantasy. However, recently I’ve been trying to broaden my horizons and explore other genres and more contemporary fiction. If you have any recommendation that aren’t very romance heavy (I’m an aromantic prude, apparently), I’d love to check them out.
My personal aesthetic can pretty much be summed up with a Google Images search of “pastel vintage photography”. I LOVE quaint and pastel things- one of the most random things that has ever delighted me was a mint-colored fire hydrant in Boulder, Colorado. Had I been a good photo-taker, that would be framed on my wall, as well as a baby pink Fiat I saw on my FB timeline the other day!
At various times throughout my life I’ve been distantly interested in more crafts and hobbies than I can name, but I’ve never really committed to any of them. I’m at a point in my life where I want to remedy that and really devote myself to more creative endeavors, staring with mail/paper art here. If time and money weren’t an object, other things I would dabble in include learning ALL the languages, playing musical instruments (violin, cello, piano), photography, woodworking, and pottery among MANY others.
Some of my nerdier interests include video games and anime/manga- I’ll go into favorite fandoms in a separate section because there’s a LOT.
I’m sure I’ll add to this section in time but there’s a bit to start out with!
Previous Profiles
I do have previous profiles on the site and have submitted a contact form to try to get them merged. I was an particularly hardheaded underager back in 2012 and my previous profiles are @chartaflores @beh and @shethesheep . I don’t have any ratings on them, I was just dumb and not quite old enough to be here yet, but I totally understand if this is a concern to anyone.
I will always send the swaps I sign up for. If for any reason you don’t receive a swap from me, please let me know- I’ll be happy to resend it! Likewise I’ll always approach a swap partner before rating down for things like that.
I rate every swap I receive, usually on the same day unless I’m out of town or don’t make it up to the mailboxes that day, but I will always rate!
I love postcards and join a variety of written and unwritten postcard swaps. At the end of the day, I'm happy to receive any card you want to send - I just like finding a little piece of the world waiting in my mailbox! But a few of my favorite themes include:
-Illustrations
-Book or Reading Related
-Series postcards sent from the origin state or country (things like Maps of the World, Flags of the World, Greeting From, State Birds, etc.)
-Doors and windows
-Dinosaurs
-Cute animals, illustrated or photos
-Lou Paper 50 states
-Cultural costumes, traditions, etc.
-Masks - cultural or masquerade
There's very little I won't find use for or be able to regift, so please don't feel discouraged from sending anything if it's not on this list!
Some of my favorite things at the moment are:
-Unused postcards for my postcrossing supply (preferably non-touristy)
-Any paper crafting, ephemera, or junk journal supplies.
-Butterfly themed ATCs
-ATCs with inspirational/motivational quotes or sentiments
-Postage stamps - unused or cancelled!
-Handmade envelopes- any size! I use them for ATCs, or for postcard swaps, or junk journaling, so a variety is awesome!
-Any paper scraps, ephemera, etc in these themes: butterflies, Alice in Wonderland (especially Mad Hatter), purple, strawberries, clocks, music, violin/cello, circus (clowns encouraged!)
-Stamped images or die cuts, shaped punches cut out of patterned paper or magazines
I'm not super picky, but there are a few things I would prefer not to receive if at all possible. Please do not send:
-Anything political
-Anything religious
-Anything erotic, horror, or gory.
-Planner stickers (other stickers are okay, but as a planner sticker shop owner I have more of those lying around than I'll ever find uses for!)
An A-Z collection of some other things I enjoy!

B - Butterfly-themed things, bullet journaling, book pages
