I live in Winnipeg, Canada. I have one son, one daughter, five grandchildren and one great grandson. My husband and I enjoy all forms of art. I am a watercolour painter and mixed media artist who also publishes a digital magazine called the Watercolour Gazette.

I got involved with ATCs about six years ago and I started a group here in Winnipeg. Creating trading cards allows me to explore different media and to express myself in ways that are difficult to do in watercolour paintings.

Besides making ATCs and watercolour paintings, I also explore collage, rubber stamping, mixed media, art journalling and altered book making. I like using rubber stamps, especially those with Christmas or vintage images.

Family history is another one of my passions and I am constantly searching for my Cottier relatives from the Isle of Man.

Beautiful background papers, tissue paper, and all kinds of art materials such as watercolour paint, watercolour pencils, watercolour crayons, acrylics, and casein. I also love altered books, smart cars, popcorn, vintage postcards and photos.

My favourite colours are reds and browns.

I love to be surprised by the ATCs I receive, it's the shear variety that makes them so wonderful. If I had to make a choice of my favourites though, I would choose collage, quilted, sewn and vintage ATCs, especially vintage Christmas ATCs. I prefer not to receive cards that have stickers, black and white or pencil drawings on them.
