Where has this site been hiding?! I used to do nervousness.org all the time, and did a lot of tea swaps with people all over the world (tea from the Netherlands is the best! pass it on) but then they shut the site down, and my LMAO projects just disapeared into etheer. :( But behold and huzzah! A new site for swapping! (Well, new to me.)  I'm hoping that I can participate in a bunch of tea swaps here, along with other fun things I might find. Exciting!

About me... I live in NYC (Queens) with my husband, who is an associate editor at Marvel Comics. Myself, I'm a second year Family Practice Resident in the Bronx.  I enjoy being a Doctor; I get to meet so many different people and hopefully be a force of good in their lives. It's my way of decreasing World Suck. (DFTBA!)

Most of my trades here will probably involve hot drinks. I love tea and coffee and cocoa! My favorites are English Breakfast, Sakura, Jasmine, Lavender, and anything fruity, but I'll drink anything and love to try new teas! One exception: I get a weird unpleasant facial flushing when I drink Roobios (Red Tea), so please only black, green, white or whatever other colors you have, just no red please.

Of note: I love Love LOVE Pickwick tea, and can't find it in the US. I think it's a Dutch tea? Anyway, Instant heart if you send me Pickwick tea!!

Harry Potter: I am a HUGE Harry Potter Fan(atic). Books, Movies, Wizard Rock, I love it all. I particularly like House Ravenclaw (book colors, not movie!) and Slytherin for cosplay.

Caffeine: if it has this blessed substance, I want it in my face. Happily, Starbucks has yet to put out a restraining order on me. Phew! But all things caffeine-related are my bag.

Manga: bunches and bunches, both Korean and Japanese (so, Manga and Manwa, then). My favorites are Kare Kano and Death Note. If you haven't seen the Death Note movies yet, go see 'em!

Japanese anything: I pointed out Manga specifically, but I'm really a big fan of all things Japanese. Teas, Sakura (cherry blossom) flavored/decorated items, foods, holiday stuff, Shinto stuff, anything. If I could teleport/speak Japanese, that's were I'd be. I'm learning though! (um, the language, not teleportation. I wish!)

Chinese anything: Copy/Paste above paragraph, exchange appropriate cultural references. Except that I highly doubt I will ever, ever master Mandarin or Cantonese.  :P. I particularly love Chinese history, literature, and opera.

Eggs: I collect egg stuff. Sculpted eggs, carved eggs, glass eggs.  Just love 'em.  No particular reason. 

Cat stuff: I love love love kitties. ^_^ I have two adorable ones of my own, and generally think that cats are the bees knees.

Crafting: In my spare time I knit. Granted, I don't have much spare time at the moment, and I'm really behind on all my projects, but it's good stuff. Also I like to Plastic Canvas, but I knit much more.

That's all I can think of on short notice. I will update with my various idiosyncrocies as they develop.
