Why, hello there! :)

My name is Summer, and I live in Alaska with my retired service dog and his very energetic successor. I love books, and libraries, and reading, and I am slowly plodding my way out of a big bout of writer's block.

A few things that make me happy in life: Pinback buttons, swimming, dance classes, and typewriters. :)

I'm very new to Swap-Bot, so if it looks like I don't know something about how things go around here, I probably don't. Please let me know if I'm doing something incorrectly!

Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library, the Amelia Peabody mysteries by Elizabeth Peters, the Jacky Faber books by L.A. Meyer, the Harry Potter series, the Gallagher Girls series, the Hunger Games series. My favorite sections of the bookstore are usually middle grade and Y.A.

I like to make pinback buttons and do hand embroidery. I crochet a little and knit a little, but am really only a beginner at both. Mostly I'm kind of a craft dabbler.
