Hi! I really enjoy sending and recieving snail mail. I had some partners through another website, only the letters do not come often. My partner has recently moved to another town, and whilst we are still together we now live seperately, hundreds of miles away in fact. I am pretty lonely now, living in a loft while the landlord travels a lot. I would really like to make some new friends, and have something to do with my time. I enjoy being creative, because what I study at university doesn't require any artistic flare! I really, really love stickers and other bits and bobs and so swapping things like that would be cool and would certainly put a smile on my face! As a student, I do not have a lot of money, but I can hunt around and see what I can find!
Well, I have a range of tastes in music. I can't say "I like a bit of everything" because I'm not a fan of R&B or tasteless rap, and a number of other genres. My favourite bands are Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Madness and Thin Lizzy, and David Bowie is my favourite solo artist. I could say I like rock music mostly, as I will always enjoy that. But my taste varies month by month, week by week and even day by day. I might add that it can change throughout the day!
My favourite author is Irvine Welsh. Due to moving, I have given most of my copies of his books to a friend; although I didn't want to give them up it is nice to know they will be appreciated. I am currently enjoying the Thursday Next novels, by Jasper Fforde.
Again, I like many different types. I like comedies with contain dark humour, and not-so-obvious jokes. I'm not a fan of slapstick and in your face humour, such as the American Pie movies. Although I do like a bit of Laurel and Hardie! Horries aren't really my thing, unless they are well made. I suppose I prefer Thrillers which give me something to think about, rather than blood and guts everywhere; that just makes me laugh and I cannot take them seriously. I do like some action, but not the kind where they just seem to run around blowing things up and shooting a million rounds at eachother. My favourite movie-man (he has too many different roles in the movie world) is Quentin Tarantino. I haven't, yet, seen all of his movies but I adore what I have seen and will watch them over and over again. Apart from the needle scenes, such as in Pulp Fiction. Yuck.
I like to have the television on in the background. Currently I don't have wireless and the television is not visable to me, but I have it on as company. I like real life shows, but not ones like Big Brother and other reality shows.I like The Family, which films a real family as they go about their business in their own home, and shows like that. I like a lot of American comedies such as Friends, Scrubs, Accidently on Purpose and more.
