01/26/26-my husband took the mail into the post office since we have not received mail for a few days due to the weather (11 inches of snow and bitter cold temperatures)-they stated they hadn’t received a truck from St. Louis for a few days-I am marking what I sent with him as mailed, since it’s at the post office, it’s out of my hands and control.

EDIT - if the swap says to include extras/tuck ins, that is fine - 12/29/25-Hi, I am hoping 2026 will be a declutter year for me, having said that, I am asking that no extras be included in swaps sent to me. I have way too much stuff as it is and hope to start passing things along instead of getting more stuff. I appreciate any and all help with this project! 11/22/25 - Hi all! I will be traveling from Sunday, November 23 until Sunday, November 30. I will still be mailing swaps, but will not have access to my Happy Mail until December 1. 09/22/25 - Hi all! Everything has been rated that I have currently received in the mail - thank you for your patience! Our trip was wonderful and a needed time to get away and relax, as well as learn more about some of the wonderful states I have never been in before! Figured out that I loved SD - beautiful part of the country and the people were so friendly! ;)

Sept. 4, 2025 - Hi all! I am going to be out of town from Monday, 09/08/25 through Monday, 09/22/25 - I will not have access to my Happy Mail or computer. I will get everything rated when I return - please be patient! Also, I will be sending swaps while traveling, so you may get postmarks from all over the place! LOL! ****also received a 1 rating while away with no comment or communication, so no clue as to why my partner rated me a 1. I left a message on the swap and also private messaged her, and the host. Not much the host or I can do, as the swapper has not been back on SB since May 13, 2025. This is a crock of BS for me but what can ya do? Life is not fair and apparently some swappers aren't either!

We adopted a puppy (Ms. Greta) on March 9, 2021, and I forgot how much work they are! LOL! She is a sweetheart but I am way older than when we have had puppies in the past and my Mom eyes in the back of my head seem to be gone, so I have to watch her like a hawk or she is into stuff! LOL! This too shall pass and I am enjoying her puppy silliness & all the love she has to share! Thanks for your understanding if I get behind on rating or commenting on your ratings! I am married and have two sons, an awesome DIL and two Grands (a girl and boy), who call me Yaya! I love the thought of scrap-booking and making cards, but have been lacking the energy as of late! Also love reading (murder, mystery, and mayhem!) and meeting new friends through fb or other group sites! Hope I can participate in some of the swaps on this site and make some new friends!

When my oldest son left for college in August 2009, I felt such a void in my life and joined SB in 2010.

I enjoy meeting new people, exchanging cards and pcs with them, as well as going to local scrap booking events and meeting new folks!

So far I have been lucky that any swaps I have signed up for, I have been able to fulfill my obligation. I would hope that would continue.

I am not into drama and will try to send stuff that I think my swap partner will enjoy - however if I miss the mark, well stuff happens! I am very easy going with what folks send me and just look forward to seeing how others respond to the different swaps!

Loves/Likes - My family, Being happy, Hearing kiddos laugh, Being with gal pals, Card making, Meeting new people, Love, love, love to read! The library is one of my favorite places!! The beach, Halloween, Christmas, Birthdays! Soccer, Taking pictures, Being able to help others, Being able to laugh at myself , A clean house (this is a dream of mine but I am a bit of a clutter bug, so...), Traveling, Vacations, Flowers, Learning new things,

Dislikes- Drama when it is not necessary, People that just need to get over themselves, Vacations that do not work out, Kids being disrespectful to their elders and each other, Car problems, Health issues, Feeling like someone has taken advantage of you or someone you care about, Housework! lol

Ratings - I am very good about trying to rate quickly, so if you sent me something and do not see a rating timely, please let me know! Either I did not get the item or it got mixed in with other stuff!! That does happen sometimes!

I love all postcards - have a soft spot for vintage postcards but really have not met a postcard I didn't like! LOL!

My favorite color is purple - all shades work! If I cannot use what you share with me, I will pass it on - please don't overthink what you sent and make yourself crazy - SB is supposed to be fun, not extra work!!

I am excited to be learning about mini zines from some of the great swappers here on SB! I have been on SB for 15 years and this is a new to me adventure! ;)

I enjoy caffinated fruity teas, but if you don't have that, no worries, just send what you have! I hate to think of folks spending extra money to swap with me - that is crazy! LOL!

I would love to receive some cute address labels and could exchange pcs for them! If you can help me out, please send me a pm!
