I'm a middle-aged mom who loves mail and am looking for all the extra bits of joy and whimsy. I love bright colors, animals (especially koalas), and being outside.

I love reading and crocheting--even better when I can combine the two by listening to an audiobook while crocheting. I read mostly historical fiction, modern fiction, and popular literature. I've learned through experience that Barack Obama and I have very different tastes in books, but I keep going back to books he recommends.

I listen to a lot of folk music and protest music (Bob Dylan, Jesse Welles, Joan Baez, etc). I really like Weezer and Chapell Roan as well. I guess my musical tastes would be described as eclectic.

My kids and dog take up most of my time. I drive them around, go on field trips, and volunteer in classrooms. I ran the book fair this past year--which was my favorite week of the year (did I mention I really like books?).

My kids are 3 girls--one in college, one in high school, and one in elementary. My oldest is an intense Trekkie. My middle loves dragons. My youngest lives and breathes Greek mythology (Hadestown is playing 24/7 here). I am vicariously interested in all of their interests.
