Hello! My name is Becky and I am happily married. George and I have been together over 25 years and married since 1997. We have 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys. They are 23, 20, 18, 15, and 13.
I hope if anyone reads this that you are all safe and healthy. May you not be pulling your hair out at this time of craziness in the world we live in. I am a woman of faith and pray for everyone's safety, health, and families. I am at this time considered an essential employee and find myself working many more hours.
At this time our post office is closed weekends and shorter hours. We have to use the post office as we are very small and don't have mail delivery except for packages and our post office box.
We moved back in October and are settled in for the most part. It's very small but are inside the town limits so that makes me happier Don't get confused by the word town,we don't even have stop lights and only where I work at the Loaf N Jug is open 24 hours. Everything else is like banking hours and the closest hospitals are 2 hours in either direction.
I have been living in Wyoming since 2009. It is a very rural area...very rural. We have beautiful landscapes and views, but have to drive a long way for shopping, etc.
I am a total book worm! I have at least 2 or 3 books going at one. A hard copy, and a few kindle books. I average around 80 to 85 books a year.
I enjoy coloring, pen palling, swapping, making fbs, slams, mail tags, etc. I have over 30 pen pals.
I am just getting into more of the post card swaps and really like the coloring ones.
As a family we love to hike, camp, fish, raft, hang out at the lake, hunting, antler hunting, and inside play board games and cards.
I love to bake and cook. I collect all kinds of recipes, although basic home cooking is my favorite. New age cooking and ingredients just won't really happen here. I love stews, soups, casseroles, crock pot meals, and desserts. Salads are a favorite also.
I've enjoyed all my recipe especially the bookmark swaps so much. I keep everyone of them and hope to make a book of recipes to use all the time.
I like all kinds of music. I can in shuffle play have gospel, rap, country, rock, christian, pop, folk,to r & b come up. I tend to have 80's and 90's music on. From November to January I'm that annoying Christmas music lover that listens 24-7,lol.
I love books period. I'm not big on re-reads,but I collect authors. My favorite book I recommend to everyone is by John Beck called The Christmas Sweater. I read this every year.
Some romance stories are ok,but I prefer mystery and mayhem. I like true crime also. I am on a Jana Deleon kick right now because I enjoy the supernatural and especially books based in Louisiana. I'd love to visit there by the way. I also enjoy books by Beverly Lewis. I enjoy Christian faith books also.
There are many authors I enjoy reading and there so many to name. I like recipe based books and the Janet Evanovich series for Stephanie Plum. Nora Roberts, J.D. Robb are other favorites.I enjoy cozy mysteries and books also. I love Leslie Meier and all her books. Amy Boyle, Avery Flynn, Adele Abbott, Lori Foster, Lisa Jackson, Sandra Brown, and the list goes on forever! Although I have started reading Robert Dugoni, and have become a fast fan. I'm on a third book of his since Monday, lol.
